BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Turning Point Christian Academy operates under the guidance of a dedicated Board of Stewards and a School Board. The Board of Steward provides advisement and oversight in key areas such as finances, business decisions, facility planning and construction. Working in conjunction with the Head of School, the Board of Stewards ensures the school’s financial health by managing the budget, approving or denying purchases, and making strategic decisions that align with the academy’s mission and long-term vision. 

The School Board is separate from the Board of Stewards and they hold authority in all matters of student behavior and discipline, including decisions regarding punishment, suspension, or expulsion. In addition, the School Board plays a vital role in the hiring and dismissal of school staff, ensuring accountability and oversight.  In conjunction with the Head of School, The School Board also oversees the overall curriculum and educational programs offered, ensuring that instruction remains Christ-centered and aligned with the school’s mission. These responsibilities help maintain the highest standards of excellence in Christian education and support the school’s commitment to both academic and spiritual development.
